Maize Degerminator for Wheat/maize Flour Milling Machine

These machines are responsible for removal of germ which is the inner most part of the kernel.

The maize kernel is fed to the machine through a hoper and evenly distributed by a cast screw and grinding cylinder. The maize kernels are rapidly rotated through abrasive surfaces which rubs the kernel. These forces cause the outer husk to crack or loosen from the maize kernel.

After the impact or abrasive action, the loosened husks are separated from the maize kernels. This is typically done using a combination of air separation, sieves, and cyclones.
